The application of Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence is becoming widespread across all industries. It is crucial for OEMs and Tier-1s to adopt this trend into their product development process to achieve reduced time to market with lowered costs. KPIT is working on integrating machine learning with product development in order to accelerate the development process along with significant cost benefits. Our initial applications in steering systems, chassis, drive axles and crash guards have demonstrated direct savings of at least 30-50% in cost and time, along with other intangible benefits.
